Electric Cigar Box Ukulele (concert size) - SOLD

Do you play ukulele, but want something that doesn't look exactly like every other ukulele? With guitars it seems like there's a lot of variation, even in less expensive guitars. With ukulele's, it seems like they mostly look the same. Here's one that doesn't.
It's made with a Macanudo cigar box and a piece of salvaged wood for the neck. If I remember correctly, it was cut from part of an old bed. The tailpiece is part of an old hinge. These previously used parts give the instrument a unique look, and although it still sounds pretty similar to a traditional ukulele, the cigar box gives it a slightly different sound. It's strung up with a set of nylon ukulele strings and tuned like a traditional ukulele. It's a concert size uke which is just a little bigger than the more common soprano uke. (It has a 15" scale rather than 13")
It has 16 nickle-silver frets, and 4 guitar style machine tuners. This isn't what's traditionally used on ukuleles, but they're so much easier to tune that I prefer to use them instead of friction pegs. This also has a piezo pickup built in, so if you need a little more volume, you can run it through an amplifier.
